The Sound of Music
The fantastically talented boys in Sixth Form presented The Sound of Music on Thursday and Friday night last week. captivating audiences with their outstanding performances. The wonderful show, full of energy and outstanding individual and collective performances, was a most enjoyable spectacle on both evenings. Earlier in the week, the younger boys in the Junior School had greatly enjoyed watching the dress rehearsal.
Congratulations to the boys in Sixth Form and our sincere thanks to Andrea Basquille (Producer) and Ivan McKenna (Musical Director) who have been working with the boys since September to create such marvellous performances.
Our thanks to Mr. Brennan, Mr. Inglis, Mr. O’ Neill and Mr. Moore for all their dedicated work with the boys in preparation for the show and to all the teachers for their steadfast help and support backstage on both evenings.
We appreciate the help of the parents who assisted with ironing, make up and selling the refreshments and the help of Senior School boys who helped with Front of House arrangements under the direction of Mr. Ruane.
